Hello,
Where is says "Children under 12 will need to fly with an adult and must weigh a minimum of 18kg". Can we assume the the minimum weight of 18kg includes clothing?

Comments

thank you for your question about the Parasailing in Queenstown. Children can fly tandem or triple with an adult once they weigh over 20kgs including what they are wearing on the day.

Hi there, what is included in the photo pack? As well, are we allowed to bring our own camera while doing the parasailing?

Comments

You can purchase a photo package on the day. The photo pack would be emailed to you with about 20+ photos, taken every minute you are harnessed in and flying. You are welcome to bring your own camera but this is at your own risk.

Hi there, I'm looking to book the parasailing early bird option for three adults but our weight will probably be over 200kg combined. Should i book one tandem and a solo or should I book the triple and we will be reorganised by the person there?

Comments

Heya, If the three of you will be over the weight limit you will need to book a solo and a tandem.

How long are u up in the air for?

Comments

Each parasailing flight in Queenstown lasts for around 10 minutes. The boat ride will last about 55 minutes as you head away with a group of people who all parasail so the rest of the time on the boat you can sit back and relax and enjoy the views of the lake, mountains and Queenstown.

Hi Could you tell me what i should wear while parasailing in the winter time? Thanks

Comments

Hi Li. The weather is usually great for parasailing in Queenstown in winter with often clear blue skies and little wind. It is cold though so when doing any of the outside activities just make sure you wear lots of layers as well as woolen gloves and beanie etc.

For 3 adults (combined weight under 200kgs) is it possible for a triple?

Comments

Hi Amy. Yes, weather and wind conditions permitting you can book 3 adults as a triple on the parasailing in Queenstown but its quite tight up there in the triple harness which is why generally there needs to be at least 1 small child as part of the three otherwise its just too tight in the harness, irrespective of the total weight being under 200kgs. You are welcome to book however on the day if the instructors say that it is going to be too tight a squeeze then they may request that one of you flies solo and the other two fly tandem.

Can we have a triple for adults also? (3 adults parasailing together)

Comments

Hi Amy, unfortunately there is no triple option for 3 adults. You could fly with 2 adults and a smaller child however the maximum weight for the flight is 200kg so generally a triple adult flight cannot be done.

Hi Jessica, you could take a camera up in the air with you if you wanted for your Paraflight however it is not recommended in case you drop it. Photos of your experience are captured by the Parasailing crew and you can purchase these for $39 or if you book the 10am flight you receive a free photo pack.

My family group have 2 adults and 2 children, so we should fly 2 times (1adult +1child for each time) , right ? And how about the total cost and how about the duration for joining this activity?

Comments

Hi Joe. Yes you will need to book 2 tandem Queenstown parasailing flights. You can book 2 adults tandem ($109 each)  and 2 children tandem ($79 each) so the total is $376. You can then choose to fly 1 adult + 1 child  each time when you are on board the boat. The total trip time will be 1 hour and each flight lasts for about 10 minutes so each person will get 10 minutes in the air.

hi is this safe for a woman in her 4th month of pregnancy? thanks

Comments

Hi Verity. Due to safety precausions it is not recommended that pregnant women participate in the Paraflights as there is a waist band that goes round the belly and if something were to ever go wrong the waist band might tighten.

Hi What would the total cost be for one triple flight consisting of 2 adults and a 5 year old child?

0 comments - Post a Comment

We are family of four - with one 20 yr old and one 10 yr old child. How can we book 2 tandem flights? I could not see an option for a tandem flight for 1 adult and 1 child. All tandems come up in multiples of 2? 20 yr old is an adult, so I can book a tandem for 2, but what about an adult and child?

Comments

Hi Zerman. For the option of the tandem flight for 1 adult and 1 child just book it in as two child tandems and in the additional info write that one of you is an adult and we will charge your card the additional $30.
