Debating whether we need a guided tour on Mou Waho island? The watertaxi cruise does not provide a guided tour. Is it necessary to have guided tour - would we get lost, could we still see the weka?

The Mou Waho Island experience is amazing! I would definitely recommend the guided tour to the glacier lake at the summit of the island - one of the most stunning walks in Wanaka! Your local guide will provide you with informative & entertaining commentary.  However, the island walk is optional if you would prefer to remain on the boat, beach or complete part of the walk.  Would you like to make a reservation?
