Discover the Alderman Islands Nature Reserve on a 2 hour boat tour departing from Tairua Marina in the Coromandel. Also known as the Vanishing Volcanoes, the iconic Alderman Islands are made up of a chain of rhyolite domes with sheer cliff faces and thriving endemic flora and fauna. As one of New Zealand's finest diving and marine environments, the waters surrounding the Alderman Islands are home to an incredible diversity of sea life. While the tour doesn’t include diving, it offers an excellent way to experience what this marine reserve has to offer from above the water.
